Ready for Work is
run by Business in the Community, with the support of National and Local businesses, specifically for people from homeless backgrounds. Typically the programme runs as follows:
Week one
1/2 day registration session
Closing date for applications, clients must meet
selection criteria and be referred by a recognised
homelessness provider.
Week two
2 day job focussed motivational training programme
Weeks Three and Four
2 week placement with a participating business (extension may be possible)
Week Five
1/2 day Action Planning session
From Action day
6 month one to one support with a volunteer Job Coach from a participating business
